The apparatus with lever mechanism is the second version intended for operators of instrumental insemination. In the previous version, the capillary correction was performed by the micro-tuning mechanism, which is convenient for people with hand tremors or beginners who do not yet have motor skills in queen bee insemination.
The apparatus with lever mechanism can be used with microscopes with a focal length of the lens of 90 mm or more. The device weight is 1.2 kg, which allows it to stand firmly on the surface of the table or a microscope stand. The dimensions of the apparatus are not big so it can be conveniently transported. Materials used: stainless steel, duralumin, fluoroplastic.
The apparatus can be set to work in 5 minutes, taking into account the anatomical features of the operator and the location of the apparatus, which is very important for comfortable work and ultra-precise movements during the insemination of queen bees. Fixing screws allow accurate adjustment of the resistance of certain nodes to prevent their displacement during work.
The apparatus manipulators are completed with stainless steel hooks and a hole of 0.2 mm for convenient but not supertight fixation of the queen bee stinger.
If necessary, the apparatus can be equipped with three types of syringes:
- Syringe for artificial insemination of queen bees,
- Syringe Station for Instrumental Insemination of Queen Bees with Measuring Device,
- Syringe for Instrumental Insemination of Queen Bees with Cartridges and Measuring Device. depending on your needs and preferences.
The apparatus set includes:
- The apparatus;
- The set of cannulas (2 pc.) to fix the queen bees during insemination;
- The set (2 pc.) of hook cups for protection. .
